The artwork highlights a development to red and dry clothes that show a result to self-cleanliness, a change in personailty and identity by letting go of the past. The use of red clothes represent boldness and determination can motivate an individual to move forward with their lives. I chose to use ready-made clothing as it focuses on the connection between dirty laundry that everyone has at home. The dirty laundry consists of clothes that were manufactured by fashion companies, where everyone purchases clothes from a business. Creating this connection allows the audience to connect to the artwork on a relatable level.

I wanted to take my project a step further and create more than clothes. I was inspired by Jenny Nijenhuig to investigate new methods to portray my message.
